100 Ton Power Monopole Project in the Philippines

The 100-ton, 9-meter electric monopole project jointly developed by our factory and the Philippines has been successfully completed.

During construction, our technical team addressed the local challenges of high temperature, humidity, and frequent typhoons by adopting ‌Q345B high-strength steel‌ and ‌hot-dip galvanizing anti-corrosion technology‌, combined with a self-developed ‌tapered variable-section structure‌. These innovations enhanced the monopole’s wind resistance to ‌45 m/s‌ and extended its service life to ‌over 30 years‌ ‌4. Through ‌BIM modeling‌ to optimize stress distribution, the pole’s weight was reduced by ‌12%‌ while its load capacity increased to ‌1.5 times‌ the design standard ‌4. The project team also overcame pandemic-induced logistics constraints by pioneering ‌modular prefabrication technology‌, compressing on-site installation to ‌72 hours‌ and improving efficiency by ‌40%‌ compared to traditional methods ‌4.

The successful completion of this project has laid a solid foundation for our factory’s future power infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia. Leveraging this model, the company plans to deepen production capacity cooperation with ASEAN countries, focusing on the joint R&D of ‌500-ton composite material power towers‌ over the next three years to advance regional smart grid development ‌4.
